Mr. Allen Wayne Blake, age 70, died Thursday, December 21, 2017 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas after a long illness. Born January 2, 1947, he was the son of Joseph Arthur Blake and Myrtle Coleman Blake. He was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing and a Baptist.

Mr. Blake was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allen Blake.

Mr. Blake is survived by his wife, Brenda, of the home; one son Anthony Blake of Wynne, Arkansas; one brother, Billy Ray Blake of Bono, Arkansas; three sisters: Geraldine (& husband Ed) Gregory of Hardy, Arkansas, Mary (& husband Mike) Carty of Tennessee, Betty (& husband Larry) Lenderman of Colt, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Dustin, Heather, Joseph, Lacy, Danielle and Dawn; eight great-grandchildren and two special friends Danny & Debbie Stevens.

Mr. Blake's services are scheduled for Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00pm at Smith Chapel with Bro. J.T. Baskins officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00PM before the funeral service. Morgan Funeral Home of Forrest City, Arkansas are in charge of arrangements.
