Mr. Allen Ray Simpson, age 50, died Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2026, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  He was the son of Ray Simpson Simpson and Mildred Cupples Simpson.  He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Scott, in 2025.

Survivors include one brother, Charles "Billy" Scott, and wife Sissy of Florida; and one sister, Beverly Smith of Texas.
