Mr. Billy Ray Hollaway, age 82, died at his home in Cherry Valley, Monday evening, January 18, 2016, after a long illness. He was a retired farm laborer and a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his wife Mary, of the home, two sons Steven and wife Cathy Hollaway of Beedeeville, AR and Billy and wife Renee Hollaway of Cherry Valley; one brother William and wife Elleene Hollaway of Earle; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Hollaway will be Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2016 at the Sharps Chapel in Cherry Valley with Bro. Jay McGarrity officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Sharps Chapel. Burial will follow at Vandale Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home-Forrest City.
