Billy Roe Thompson, age 71, died February 13, 2020 after a short illness.  Born October 31, 1948, he was the son of Elmer Eugene Thompson and Roxie Ann Troy Thompson.  He was in the US Navy and a truckdriver.

Preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother, Clara Fay Thompson who raised him.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Thompson of the home; three sons Baker (& wife Missy) Halley of Bryant, AR, Bradley (& wife Susan) Thompson of Amity, AR, and Clint (& wife Windy) Thompson of Hot Springs, AR; two daughters: Aimee Webb of Hot Springs, AR and Dana Holt of Forrest City, AR; two brothers Eugene (& wife Linda) Thompson of Ardmore, OK and Carl (& wife Sarah) Thompson of Alabama; one sister Nona Mae (& husband Jim) Edwards of Mountain Home, AR; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, friends and family.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday afternoon at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:00 - 6:00PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Birdeye Veterans Cemetery with Bro. Roger Smith officiating.
