Bobby Watkins

Bobby Watkins went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 25th, 2019.  He was born October 30, 1956 in Marianna, Arkansas to John and Naomi Watkins.  He was known around in his neighborhood as "boo-boo".  He married the love of his life on August 1, 1975 in Moro, Arkansas.  He started working for Miixon-Webb John Deere at a young age and worked there for several years until he started his own business "Watkins Tractor Repair".  He accepted the call into the ministry over 35 years ago and went on the be the Pastor of Moro Full Gospel Church of God for over 25 years.  He was a powerful man of God and stood on his faith until the end.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Naomi Watkins and one sister Peggy; and four brothers: Johnny, Boyce, Rodger and Ronny.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories the love of his life for forty-three years Wanda Watkins and two daughters Jennifer Parson and husband Joseph of Moro, Arkansas; Jamie Nicholson and husband Caleb of Wynne, Arkansas; and four precious grandchildren that he loved dearly Issac, Levi, Elizabeth, and Jacob.  One sister that he loved Ann Alexander and husband Gary of Wynne, AR. A host of nieces and nephews and a church family.

Services are scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00AM at Moro Full Gospel Church of God with Bro. Joseph Parson officiating and Bro. David Parson assisting.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00PM at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City, Arkansas.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Moro, Arkansas.
