Mrs. Brenda Thornton, age 69, passed away, Tuesday August 1, 2023, at her home in Wynne, Arkansas. Born June 13, 1954, she was the daughter of Johnny Raymond Immel and Minnie Wilson Immel. Mrs. Thornton was the manager of Denny's and was of Baptist faith.

Mrs. Thornton was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Thornton is survived by her husband Richard Thornton of the home; two daughters Jeanine Cooper (Richy) of Wynne, Arkansas, Jamie (Clark) Holiday of Wheatley, Arkansas; one brother Lonnie Immel of McCrory, Arkansas; one sister Loretta (Sonny) Chelette of Southaven, Mississippi; seven grandchildren Karissa (Justin) Adkins, Steven (Leslie) Wood, Dennis (Blessing) Wood, Jesse Cooper, River (Leighann) Cooper, Caleb "Doc" (Paige) Holiday, and Justin "Cowboy" Holiday and eight great grandchildren Taylor Terry, Haylee Adkins, Levi Adkins, Eli-James Adkins, Harlee Gilmore, Hazel Wood, Harper Cooper, and One great grandson on the way.

A visitation for Mrs. Thornton will be Saturday August 5, 2023, at 10:00 am at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Dennis Colvin and Steven Wood officiating, burial to follow at Johnson Cemetery in Fair Oaks, Arkansas.
