Carl "Jerry" Sitzes' Obituary
Mr. Carl "Jerry" Sitzes, age 55, of Forrest City, died Wednesday morning June 26, 2013, at Baptist East in Memphis after a short illness. Mr. Sitzes was born August 31, 1957, in Memphis,the son of J.V. Sitzes and Geraldine Lauderdale Sitzes.
He had worked at a local sawmill and also worked at a factory in West Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel, his parents, and two brothers,Paul Ellison and Marvin Mathes, Jr.
Survivors include three daughters: Belinda Reeves, Vanessa Sitzes, and Jerrie Sitzes, all of Forrest City; four brothers: Glen Ellison, John Ellison, and Timmy Sitzes all of Forrest City, and Jack Sitzes of Conway; Five sisters: Cora Lee Eaves of Aurora, Illinois, Diane Trim, Teresa Michael, Lynda Brazile, and Sharon Sitzes all of Forrest City; one granddaughter and two grandsons.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 Friday evening, June 29, 2013 at Morgan Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Sitzes will be Saturday morning,June 29, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Jack Sitzes officiating.
Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Moro.
