Mrs. Corrine Franks, age 79, of Wynne, Arkansas, died at ST. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, after a long illness. Born October 29, 1937, she was the daughter of Murray Winningham and Florence Hudson Winningham. She worked as a secretary for Sanyo Credit Union, and worked in Wal-Mart in sales.

She was a member of the Strong Tower Church in Wynne.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Franks in 1998.

Surviors include one son Gil Fowler and his friend Angie of Wynne, 2 daughters Sharia Hall and her husband Thomas of Cherry Valley and Deborah Duff and her friend Raymond Schatz of Terrell, Texas; two brothers Jessie Winningham and his wife Ann of Olive Branch, Miss., and Leon Winningham of Michigan. She is also survied by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank will be Tuesday morning, 10:00 AM, March 21, 2017, at Strong Tower Church, 336 W. Davis, Wynne, Arkansas, with pastor Dr. Fred Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City.
