Mr. David Carroll Melton, age 78, of Marked Tree, Arkansas passed away on Sunday May 04, 2025, at Three Rivers Healthcare and Rehab in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Born November 25, 1946, in Madison, Arkansas. He was the son of Johnny Dole Melton and Nora Brit Melton. Mr. Melton worked in the grocery store industry, he was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hughes, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Hughes, Arkansas.

Mr. Melton was preceded in death by his parents, one son David Wayne Melton, and one daughter Peggy Ann Melton.

Mr. Melton is survived by his wife JoAnn Melton of Marked Tree, Arkansas; one daughter Cathy (George) Seaton of Marked Tree, Arkansas; one brother Larry Melton of Forrest City, Arkansas; two grandchildren Brittany (Jerry) Tharp, and Ashley (Wade) Drace and three great-grandchildren Olivia, Tripp, and Jake.

Funeral Service for Mr. Melton will be on Thursday May 08, 2025, at 11:00 am at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to service. Bro. Rick Dobbins will be officiating. The burial will be at Hughes Cemetery Forrest City, Arkansas.
