Mr. Dennis "JR" Colvin, Jr., age 38, of Forrest City, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on March 1, 2021 after a long illness.  Jr was born on March 8, 1982 in West Memphis, AR and was the son of Dennis and Robin Colvin, Sr.  He was a lifetime resident of Forrest City, a member of Lighthouse Ministries and a former carpenter.  He was employed with Git-Er-Done Lawn Service.

Survivors include his parents; his wife Amanda Colvin of the home; one son Dylan Shane Colvin; one daughter Harley Lynn Colvin; one brother Jonathon Colvin and wife Bridget of Forrest City; grandmother Sherry Cartillar of Forrest City; two nieces: Nikki and Madison Walker and two nephews: Wesley and Jordan . Jr. also leaves a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Morgan Chapel beginning at 1:00 pm with Dennis Colvin, Sr officiating.  Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, AR with Gerald Colvin officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Morgan Chapel.
