Mr. Dennis Elmer Delancey Sr. of Forrest City, age 72, passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2023, at his home.  Born February 4, 1951, he was the son of Carl Thomas Delancey and Opal Lee Bramlett Delancey. Mr. Delancey was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired truck driver and when he worked, he was employed by Fed Ex.

Mr. Delancey was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Carl W. Delancey.

Survivors include his wife of the home Bonnie Delancey; two sons Dennis Elmer Delancey Jr. and his wife Amanda of Forrest City, Arkansas and Gerrad Brian Delancey of Forrest City, Arkansas; five sisters Lavonda Grogan of South Carolina, Wanda Oswalt of Hunter, Arkansas, Janet Withworth of South Carolina, Phyllis Harwell and her husband James of Weiner, Arkansas, and Sharon Backe and her husband Allen of Sherwood, Arkansas; three grandchildren Brianna, Samantha, and Dennis; one great grandchild Jaxon.

A visitation for Mr. Delancey will Thursday April 6, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am and funeral service for Mr. Delancey will be Thursday April 6,2023 at 11:00 am at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Howard Bennett officiating.
