Mr. Donnie Joe Byrd, age 77, of Forrest City, died early Tuesday morning, January 16, 2024, in Forrest City, Arkansas.  Born February 15, 1946, he was the son of Lonnie Byrd and Irene Presley Byrd. Mr. Byrd was a retired self-employed mechanic.

Mr. Byrd is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce Byrd, and one son Billy Byrd.

Mr. Byrd survivors include one son, Donnie Byrd Jr. of Forrest City, Arkansas; one daughter, Karen Byrd Goza and husband, Sam, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; eight grandchildren Joshua Brewer and his wife Heather, Katelyn Brewer, Caden Brown, Hunter Brown, Ava Goza, James Byrd, and Judy Byrd.

Graveside Service for Mr. Byrd will be Monday January 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City, Arkansas.
