Mr. Edward Clyde Thompson Jr., age 74, of Forrest City died Friday February 25, 2022. Born November 26, 1947, he was the son of Edward Clyde Thompson Sr. and Martha Matthews. He was a pharmacist, and he was of Baptist faith.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Thompson of the home; one son Larry Silski and his wife Charlotte of Wynne, Arkansas; one daughter Denise Yates and husband Danny of Forrest City, Arkansas; one sister Joan Beard of Missouri; one grandson Coy Yates; three granddaughters Kimberly Dailey (Nathan), Shauna Silski (Dustin Jones), Kara Silski; five great grandchildren.

Memorial service for Mr. Thompson will be Saturday June 4, 2022 at 2:00pm in Augusta, Arkansas at Powell Funeral Home and the family request you to join them at the First Baptist Church in Augusta, Arkansas for fellowship.
