Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Starkey Barnett age 83, of Forrest City went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Wynne.

Mrs. Barnett was born January 2, 1930 near Forrest City the daughter of Calvin Starkey and Vera Jane Melton Starkey.

She was a retired cafeteria worker with the Forrest City School District and a member of the Forrest City Church of God.

Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen Barnett; one son, Kenneth Allen Barnett; one brother, Christopher Edwin Starkey; and five sisters, Helen White, Lola Mae Ethridge, Mary Ann Cofield, Martha Joan Herman, and Barbara Jean Pipin.

She is survived by one son, Ronald Barnett of Forrest City; three brothers, Robert Starkey of Pine Tree; James Starkey of Widener; and Calvin Starkey of Birdeye; and two grand-children, Jeremy Barnett and Josh Barnett, both of Widener.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10 A.M. at the Forrest City Church of God with Bro. Chelch Reagan officiating, assisted by Bro. Calvin Starkey.

Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Forrest City Church of God.
