Mrs. Emma Jane Hobbs Adams, age 88, died Friday, January 27, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Moro, Arkansas, December 21, 1928, she a longtime resident of Forrest City, Arkansas, a member of Bethel Baptist Church and the daughter of Ellen Elsie and James Oliver Watkins. She was the widow of Ray Hobbs, deceased in 1991 and Dale Adams, deceased in 2005.

Mrs. Adams was a precious mother to three daughters: Brenda (& husband Jim) Edgar of Bella Vista, AR, Tricia (& husband Robert) Yates of Marion, AR, and Sharen (& husband Toby) Jackson of Tuttle, OK. She leaves eight grandchildren and one great-grandson: Joshua (& wife Sarah) Edgar, Jon-Thomas Edgar, Ally Edgar, Courtney (& husband Josh) Milgrim (and son Logan), Paul Yates, Kelly Yates, Hillary Hill, and Tanner Jackson. She was a loving aunt to many neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10:00AM at Morgan Chapel with Bro. James Fryer officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemeter in Forrest City, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2017, at Morgan Chapel from 4:00 - 6:00PM.
