Mrs. Emma Smith, age 89, of Colt, Arkansas passed away on Sunday January 07, 2024, at River Ridge Nursing home in Wynne, Arkansas.  Born March 16, 1934, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Calvin Grayson and Sadie Lois Thornton Grayson. She was a housewife, was a lifetime Resident of Forrest City, Arkansas and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Mark Anthony Turner and Jeff Paul Turner, one brother and three sisters.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her special friend Mel Hubbard, two sons Rickey (Anga) Turner of Wynne, Arkansas, Gary (Cathy) Turner of Colt, Arkansas; one daughter Marie Turner (Steven Farmer) of Forrest City, Arkansas; two brothers Mickey Grayson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Melvin (Mary) Grayson of Mississippi; twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Smith will be Wednesday January 10, 2024, at 11:00 am and a visitation one hour prior at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. James Fryer will be officiating Burial will be at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City, Arkansas.
