Ms. Eva Louise Dewitt, age 92, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Colt, Arkansas on March 26, 2019. Born July 9, 1926, she was the daughter of Emmitt Hill and Ruby Tims Hill. She enjoyed working in the yard, loving her grandchildren and volunteering within her church, Colt CDC and community.  She was a beloved member of the New Prospect Baptist Church.

Ms. Dewitt was preceded in death by three husbands: Woodrow Morgan, C.E. West, and Bill Dewitt; and five sons: Dwight, David, Timothy, Ray and Charles Morgan.

Survivors include son Vincent Morgan of Palm Springs, CA; two daughters Carolyn Spencer & husband John of Vandale, AR and Phyllis Fleming and husband Larry of Colt, AR; one brother Richard Hill of Forrest City; twenty-one grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at New Prospect Baptist Church in Colt, AR with Bro. Eddie Addison and Bro. Neal Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt, AR under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home of Forrest City.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at New Prospect Baptist Church.
