Mrs. Flora Lee "Flo" Luker was born in Farmersville, California on November 3, 1935, and entered heaven's gates on February 27, 2013.
She married the love of her life on August 1, 1953, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to many. Flo enjoyed caring for her family, preparing delicious food, and took pride in her porcelain doll collection. She also loved pictures; there were never too many for her liking. She wanted to capture everything on film to preserve her memories.
Flo was preceded in death by her mother, Liza Mathes; father, Herman Mathes; two brothers, Claude and Marvin Mathes, and one sister, Nina Cooney.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Oscar J. Forest "Hop" Luker; two brothers, Melvin and Norman Mathes; and one sister, Elizabeth Watts.
She is also survived by her children, Frances Chadwick and husband Charlie, Jack Luker and wife Lila, Peggy Partain, Forest Luker and wife Mindy; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
