Mr. George Edward Neal, age 86, of Colt, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born October 03, 1938, in Cross County, Arkansas, he was the son of John W. Neal and Viola Holt Neal. He was a member of Forrest City Baptist Church. He was a Measurement Technician and was employed by Arkla Gas prior to retirement Mr. Neal enjoyed music, playing guitar, especially gospel music. He was always a friend and helping hand.

Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Frances Deason, one brother-in -law Burnis Deason, first wife Shelby Jean Chalk and second wife Emily Perry.

Mr. Neal is survived by his wife Rosa Lee Neal, two daughters Vickie (Kelly) Willmuth of Bradford, Arkansas, Janet (T.E.) Ligon of Griffithville, Arkansas; one stepson Barry (Terry) Bryant of Wynne, Arkansas; one stepdaughter Frances Matthews of Palestine, Arkansas; three grandchildren Desiree Willmuth, Neal Roberts, and Benjamin Hollowell.

Visitation will be Monday November 04, 2024, at 10:00 am at Pine Tree Baptist Church. Funeral Service will follow with Bro. Gerald Colvin officiating. The burial will be at Barnishaw Cemetery.
