Mrs. Helen M. Phillips, age 73, of Widner, died Friday evening June 29th, 2018 at Crossridge Hospital after a long illness.

Born September 25th 1944, she was the daughter of Wayne Shoemaker and Nina Tennyson Shoemaker.
She was a housewife and a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph of the home; 2 sons Dwight Shoemaker of Pennsylvania, and Jonathan Phillips of Heth, Arkansas; 3 daughters, Jacklyn Doak and her husband Ronnie of Perryville, Arkansas, Lorraine Smith of Edds, Tennessee, Kimberly Booker, and Tomara Tam, both of Widner; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at 10:00am, graveside at Hughes Cemetary with Bro. Chris Powers officiating.

Visitation with the family was Sunday, July 1st, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Morgan Chapel.
