Mr. Horace Wince Simpson Sr. age 86, passed away on Thursday January 12, 2023, at Woodruff County Nursing Home in McCrory, Arkansas. Born October 13, 1936, he was the son of Henry Roy Simpson and Gaynell Gill Simpson. He was self-employed and owned Simpson Sign Company. He was an avid hunter of duck, squirrel, and deer. He was a lifetime resident of St. Francis County.

Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers Jasper L. Simpson, O.W. Simpson, Harold Simpson, and Leland Simpson and one great granddaughter Gradeigh Rose Simpson.

Mr. Simpson is survived by 3 sons Horace Wince Simpson Jr. (Kristy) of West Memphis, Arkansas; Michael Simpson and his wife Michelle of Forrest City, Arkansas; and Jeff Simpson and his wife Lisa of Palestine, Arkansas; 3 daughters Rogena Simpson Shank of Howard Ohio; Michelle Hudson of Farmington, Arkansas; and Melissa Velo and her husband Mike of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 2 brothers Wilford of Bayou Meto, Arkansas and Russell and his wife Gladys of Dewitt, Arkansas; one sister Letha Simpson Phelps of Crenshaw, Mississippi; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Simpsons visitation will be Sunday January 15, 2023, at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00-3:30 pm and graveside service will be at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, Arkansas at 4: OO pm with Brother Roger Smith officiating.
