James Alvin Cox's Obituary
Mr. James (Cowboy) Alvin Cox, age 64, of Forrest City, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at Baptist Desoto Hospital.
Mr. Cox was born, May 13, 1950, in Madison, Arkansas. He was the son of Louis Alvin Cox and Beatrice Yates. He was a factory worker at Sanyo and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby Lee Cox.
He is survived by his wife Diane Jenni Gorski Cox; two sons, James Alvin Cox, Jr. of Illinois and Michael James Cox of Forrest City; Six daughters, Patricia Mae Cox of Sterling Ill., Shelia Ann Lampy of Clinton, Ohio, Linda Fay Cox of Michigan, Jennifer Lynn Tabron of Wynne, AR, Kandi Marie Cox of Forrest City, AR and Cassie Dawn Cox of Forrest City, AR; one brother Frankie Cox of Wynne, AR and 12 grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. cox will be held at Morgan Chapel, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 am with Bro. Reagan officiating.
