Mr. James "Larry" Harpole, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Born October 16, 1947, he was the son of Louis and Orene Hammons Harpole. He was a carpenter for many years and was self-employed.  He was a very hard worker.  He was a great dad, grandpa, and friend to many people and he will be loved and missed very much. He loved shooting pool, hunting, fishing and gardening.  When he was out and about, he would always have his loyal companion Molly (his dog) with him.

Mr. Harpole was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gary, Wayne, and Billy Harpole; and one sister, Janice Kasper.

Survivors include one son, Scotty Harpole of Aubrey, Arkansas; one stepson, Jason Yarbrough of Brinkley, Arkansas; one stepdaughter,  Tonya (Floyd) Grimes of Rich, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Faye Ashburn of Aubrey, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Shelby Ford, Austin Ford, Floyd Grimes Jr., and Skyler Grimes; a very special friend, Darcy Densmore, and host of nephews and nieces.

Funeral Service for Mr. Harpole will be Wednesday February 15, 2023, at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service with brother Kendall Pettus officiating.
