Mrs. Janie Lee Cardwell, age 97, passed away on Saturday December 10, 2022, at Crestpark Inn in Marianna, Arkansas. Born October 31, 1925, she was the daughter of Joe Owensby and Lucille Henson Owensby she was a housewife and was a member of Marianna Church of God.

Mrs. Cardwell is preceded in death by her Husband Joe Cardwell, her parents, 1 son Vernon Taylor, 6 brothers George Owensby, Robert Owensby, Earl Owensby, William Owensby, James Owensby, and Thomas Owensby, 2 sisters Margie Owensby and Julia Martin, and 1 nephew Audie Owensby.

Survivors include a granddaughter Paula Champaign, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces and her Marianna Church of God Family.

Mrs. Cardwell Funeral service will be on Monday December 12, 2022, at Marianna Church of God at 10:00 am and visitation will be one hour prior to service with Bro. Norman Like officiating. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.
