Jerry Wayne Atkins' Obituary
Mr. Jerry Wayne Atkins, age 69, of Proctor passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in West Memphis after a long illness.
Mr. Atkins was born February 16, 1943 in Texas, the son of Virgil Atkins and Dorothy Dennis Atkins.
He spent his entire life in this area and was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Yvonne Atkins and Judy Atkins.
Mr. Atkins is survived by his wife, Martha Jackson Atkins of the home; two sons, Wayne Atkins and Shannon Atkins both of West Memphis; two brothers, Glen Atkins of Jacksonville and Eugene Atkins of Jonesboro; and six grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Home.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, March 29, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt with Bro. William Witcher officiating.
