Mr. Jerry Wayne King, age 65, of Forrest City, died at Helena Hospital on June 16, 2017. He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on September 9, 1951 to William King and Alpha Parker King. He was a member of the House of Prayer and a former SFC Search and Rescue volunteer. Prior to retiring, he worked as a mechanic at Hutcherson Flying Service.

He is survived by his wife Edna King; one daughter Elizabeth "Beth" King of Forrest City; two sons Randy King and wife Sarah of Forrest City, and Steven King and girlfriend Anna Dunavin of Forrest City, one sister Shirley Bratcher and husband Tommy of Bradford, two grandchildren Hunter and Jessica of Forrest City.

Visitation for Mr. King will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM June 17, 2017 at Morgan Funeral Home in Forrest City. There will be a Graveside Service following the visitation at Hugh's Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
