Jerry Allan Swiney's Obituary
Mr. Jerry Allan Swiney, age 63, of Marianna, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock.
Mr. Swiney was born September 25, 1950 the son of Banks Swiney and Lola Jean Howton Swiney.
He spent his entire life in this area, was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a member of the Marianna Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jeri Eileen Swiney.
Mr. Swiney is survived by his wife, Nancy Swiney of the home; one son, Allan Swiney of Marianna; one daughter, Wanda Worley of Benton; three brothers, Donald Swiney of Bradford, Terry Swiney of Gill, and Jimmy Massie of Cabot; two sisters Dorothy Britton of Oakland, TN and Barbara Rye of Memphis, TN; and four grandchildren, Kirsten, Hunter, Gracie, and Daisy.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 form 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Dover officiating.
Burial will be held at Salem Methodist Cemetery in Moro.
