Mrs. Jessie Mae Mitchell, age 89, died June 2, 2016 at her home in Forrest City. Born April 16, 1927, she was the daughter of William Reynolds and Veda James Reynolds. She was a homemaker, Protestant and a lifetime resident of Forrest City, Arkansas.

She leaves her husband of sixty-nine years, Odis Mitchell, one son Don (&Dixie) Mitchell of West Monroe, LA; four daughters: Barbara (& John) Moody of Forrest City, AR, Annette Willis of Blue Mountain, MS, Vera (& husband Brian) Brundige of New Market, TN and Betty Busby of Forrest City. She also leaves twenty-three grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of other several honorary family members.

Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by four children, Roy Mitchell, Ricky Mitchell, David Mitchell and Connie Sutton, and one great grandchild River Sutton.

Services are scheduled for Monday, June 6, 2016 at Morgan Chapel at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation is Sunday evening from 6-8PM at Morgan Chapel.
