Mr. Jimmy Lee Smith age 81 of Colt, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Smith was born June 16, 1931 in Cherry Valley the son of Arthur Smith and Allie Kelso Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-dad, Arthur McGee; one brother, Arthur "Bookie" Smith; two sisters, Elizabeth Shatwell and Paulette Detwiller.

He was a heavy equipment operator in the logging industry and a Baptist.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Martha Smith of the home; two sons, Jimmy Smith, Jr. of Michigan and David Smith of Wynne; two daughters, Brenda McCorkle (Anthony) of Wynne and Glenda Breeding (Roger) of Forrest City; two brothers, Arthur Leon McGee of Little Rock and Gary McGee of Argo, Indiana; Four sisters, Dorothy "Tood" Morris of Greenwood, Arkansas, Lucille Morgan of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Garnett Orman of Forrest City, and Patricia Redding of Alma, Arkansas.

He also leaves six grandchildren, Jennifer Reeves, Brittney Clark, Justin Morgan, Lacey Gremard, Colten Smith, and Hunter McCorkle; three great-grandchildren, Wilson Reeves, Olivia Reeves, and Camden Gremard.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Morgan Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Morgan Chapel with Jeremy Tucker officiating.

Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt.
