Mrs. Joann Schmidt Laird passed away on Friday July 9, 2021, at Baptist Hospital Springhill in Little Rock Arkansas. Born October 26, 1950, in Sidney Montana, she was the daughter of John Schmidt and Irene Gertrude Bruun Schmidt. Mrs. Laird was a housewife and retired from Baptist Hospital in Forrest City Arkansas from the radiology department.

Mrs. Laird was preceded in death by her husband Eithel Laird, and her parents.

Survivors include one brother John Schmidt "M.J." of Wisconsin, two sisters Susan Davis of Maryland, and Nancy Lambert of Forrest City.

Services for Mrs. Laird will be Tuesday July 13, 2021, 1:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church in Forrest City, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service with Brother Clay Hughes officiating. Her burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City Arkansas.
