Mrs. Judith L. Shirley of Mountain View, Arkansas, formerly of Forrest City, died at the Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View after a short illness. She was born October 12, 1950 to John Oskowis and Josephine Catherine Foley Oskowis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a registered nurse and worked many years with the Arkansas Health Department. She was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Catherine "Bess" Shirley in 2004.
Survivors include her husband Peter, and two brothers John and his wife Anna Oskowis of Cabot, Arkansas and Jimmy and his wife Monica Oskowis of Tallahassee, Florida.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley will be Saturday May 13, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Forrest City. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Friday May 12, 2017 at Morgan Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the Rosary Service on Friday.
