Mrs. Karen Sue Goans of Trumann, Arkansas, age 59, passed away on Sunday October 10, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born October 1, 1962, she was the daughter of Marshall Suthrlen and Helen Anderson Suthrlen. She was a Nurses Aid, and she was a member of Lighthouse Church in Trumann, Arkansas.

Mrs. Goans was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her Significant Other George Bates of the home; her mother Helen Suthrlen of Wynne, Arkansas; two sons Mark Cox of Wynne, Arkansas and Josh Holmes and his wife Tracy of Harrisburg, Arkansas; two daughters Erica and her husband Michael Woodruff of Trumann, Arkansas and Jamie Lewis and her husband John of Wynne, Arkansas; one brother Dwayne Suthrlen and his wife Heather of Monroe, Louisiana; five sisters Brenda Harness of Wynne, Arkansas, Louise Russell of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, Connie Roberts and her husband Toby of Omaha, Arkansas, Elisa and her husband Barry Cooper of Weiner, Arkansas and Helena Witcher of Kansas; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild.

A visitation for Mrs. Goans will be Friday at Morgan Funeral Home in Forrest City, Arkansas from 6-8pm, and her service will be Saturday October 16, 2021, at 11:00 am at East Baptist Church in Wynne, Arkansas with Bro Craig Clark officiating assisted by Bro. James Fryer. Burial will be at Tyer Cemetery in Cherry Valley, Arkansas.
