Mrs. Lahoma F. Southard - Alford, age 50, of Marion, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2022 after a long illness.  Born June 7, 1971, she was the daughter of Eugene Southard and Eunice Steele Southard.  Lahoma was a lifetime resident of Marion, she worked in the Retail and Hospitality Industry and was a Pentecostal.

Mrs. Alford was preceded in death by her parents; one child - infant son Ricky Deese; two brothers: Freddy Revelle and Charles Kirkendoll and brother in law Jaco Weaver.

Mrs. Alford is survived by her husband, John Alford, of the home; two sons Richmond Holmes of Proctor, AR, David Alford and wife Kim of Biloxi, MS; three daughters Kena Wilson and husband (The) Lance Wilson of Heath, AR, Curstin Pittman-Wilson and husband Charles of Marion, AR; and Joy Pittman (and significant other Danuwell Robinson) of Marion, AR; three brothers: Rick Southard and wife Marian of Arizona, Alan Southard and wife Kathy of Arizona, and Bo Gene Southard of Marion, AR; one sister Renee Weaver of Wynne, AR; and 9 grandchildren: Lane, Gracie, Annie, Conner, Ryeleigh, Kaiser, Christopher Allen, Sean and Khloe.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Monday, January 31, 2022 at Morgan Chapel, located at 2605 S. Washington in Forrest City.  Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00pm.  Funeral ceremonies will follow on February 1, 2022 at Morgan Chapel at 10:00 am with Bro. Neal Williams officiating.  Burial will be private.
