Mrs. Linda Lu (LeDuke) Jones, age 73, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Baptist East in Memphis.
Born July 2, 1949, she was the daughter of Charles Franklin LeDuke and Lucille Marrie Christensen-Hill. Mrs. Jones was self-employed until 2020 as owner of Jones and Son Fence and Pool Company. She was currently employed by Calvary Christian Daycare. She attended the First United Methodist Church.
She loved her church family and especially her church choir.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Anthony Jones, and her son, Charles Eric Jones.
Survivors include one daughter, Ashley (Michael) Hennessey of Forrest City; one brother, Ben F. (Buster) LeDuke (Nancy); two grandchildren, Liam and Lillian Hennessey, and two very special nieces, Jennifer (Gee Gee) Clark and Destin Cross (Shaun).
Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City with Pastor Beth Perdue officiating. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Armor Bank for her pride and joy, her grandchildren Liam and Lillian.
