Mr. Louis Dudley Melton, age 64, passed away on January 23, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock after a brief illness.  Born August 8, 1956, in Forrest City, he was the son of Louis Melton and Louene Moffett Melton.  He was a lifetime resident of Forrest City and worked for MFA Oil.  He was married to June Anderson Melton; and a Baptist.

Mr. Melton is also survived by two sons James (Nikki) Melton of Wynne, AR and Steve (Jennifer) Melton of Forrest City, AR; one daughter April (Juan) Reyna of Colt, AR; thirteen grandchildren: Gage Melton (Fiance Stephanie Baskins), Bryce Melton, Dalton Holland, Hanna Holland, Brycen Melton, Skylar Melton, Drake Melton, Kerston Reyna, Adelayn Reyna, Landon Reyna, Breanna Tynes, Tyler Tynes, and Keith Flowers; and two great-grandchildren Brayden Green and Hadleigh Baskins.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon, January 28, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Morgan Chapel with Pastor Danny Halflich officiating. Burial will follow at Barnishaw Cemetery near Pine Tree.
