Mr. Maburn Lee Cowan Jr., age 73, died at his home, October 2, 2017. He was born January 29, 1944 to Maburn Cowan and Ruby Luker Cowan. A retired veteran from the Navy, Mr. Cowan was also a minister. He was a member of the Rolfe Assembly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Cowan.

Mr. Cowan is survived by one son, Lee (& Angie) Cowan of McCrae, Arkansas; one step-son Ricky (& Cindi) Clark of McCrory, AR; two step-daughters: Betty (& Harold) Owens of Wynne, AR and Eva (& Steve) Owens of Vilonia, AR; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 4:00pm at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Morgan Chapel.
