Mrs. Margaret E. Baker, age 72, died at her home in Wheatley, Arkansas, Saturday, August 2, 2014, after a long illness. She was born in Forrest City, February 2, 1942, the daughter of Rufus Main and Mildred Huff Main. She was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Baker and six siblings: Leroy Main, Edna Faulk, Bonnie Burton, Rosie Ellenburg, Virginia Main, and Rufus Irene Main.
Survivors include three sons: Douglas Driver, Edward Driver and Clarence Baker, all of Palestine; one daughter Bobbie Baker of Clarendon; two brothers James Main of Terrell and Harvey Main of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; three sisters Shirley Stinnett of Searcy, Lois Main of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Pat Lawson of Pennsylvania. She is survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Baker will be held Tuesday afternoon, August 5, 2014, at 2:00pm at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Carl Baldwin officiating and assisted by Bro. Davy Matthews. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday Evening at Morgan Funeral Home.
