Mrs. Martha Louise Branan

Mrs. Martha Louise Branan, age 102, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, formerly of Forrest City, died Saturday, July 25, 2020 after a short illness.

Born October 9, 1917, she was the daughter of Charles William Luallen and Molly Leatherwood Luallen. She was the wife of Ray Hayden Branan and together they were the original pastors of the Forrest City Church of God. Mrs. Branan was the last surviving charter member.  Together they served many years in the ministry prior to her husband's death in 2009.

Survivors include her daughter Doris Williams and husband Jerry of Farmington, Arkansas; three sons Ray Branan, Jr. and his wife Lavera of Michigan, Robert Branan and his wife Eveline of Ohio and Douglas Branan and wife Joann of California; ten grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 Wednesday evening at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 10:00 am graveside at Forrest Park Cemetery with Bro Mitch Huffaker officiating.

Services are under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
