Martha Jewel West's Obituary
Mrs. Martha Jewel West, age 86, of Fort Smith and formerly of Forrest City, passed away February 2, 2014 at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith.
Mrs. West was born December 24, 1927 in Cotton Plant, the daughter of Austin Shrader and Verna Deweese Shrader.
She spent most of her life in the Forrest City area, was a former employee of Sanyo Manufacturing Corp. and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Herbert Franklin West.
She is survived by one daughter, Pam Olson of Fort Smith; one grandchild; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Clint Haynes officiating.
Burial will be held privately.
