Ms. Mary Perline Hanson, age 98, of Beebe, Arkansas, formerly of Forrest City, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas after a brief illness. Born January 14, 1920, she was the daughter of Ben Southerland and Myrtle Phipps Southerland. She was a Baptist and a Democrat.

She was preceded in death by her first husband James Crossen in 1982 and her second husband, John Hanson, in 2008. She was also preceded in death by two sons Eugene Crossen in 1993 and Eddie Crossen in 2016; and one granddaughter Jennifer Crossen in 2006.

Survivors include four sons: Harold (& wife Hallene) Crossen of Beebe, AR; Chester (& wife Pat) Crossen of Colt, AR; Freddie (& wife Patty) Crossen of Searcy, AR; and Roger Crossen of Searcy, AR; one daughter Freida Callahan of Beebe, AR; seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2:00PM at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City, AR. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral ceremony (1:00PM) at Morgan Chapel on Monday, April 16, 2018.
