Mary Elizabeth Thornton Tuck, age 66, of Forrest City, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

Ms. Tuck was born November 17, 1947 in Newport, Arkansas the daughter of Clifton Thornton and Maurine Miller Thornton.

She was an LPN with Woodridge Behavioral Center in Forrest City and was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Thornton and one sister, Peggy Thornton.

Ms. Tuck is survived by one son, Michael Joey Thigpen of Forrest City; one daughter, Angelia Thigpen Lacey of Forrest City; three brothers, Richard Thornton of Forrest City; John Clifton Thornton of Killeen, Texas; and James Thornton of Colt, Arkansas; eight sisters, Margie Alford of Marion, Arkansas; Jackie Billingsley of Cabot, Arkansas; Barbara Trevino of Colt, Arkansas; Doris Melton, Linda Dianne Thornton, Dorothy Thornton, Betty Thornton and Alice Hastings all of Forrest City;five grandchildren, Meagan Lacey, Tiffany Lacey, Jeremiah Lacey, Kylie Thigpen, and Jarrett Thigpen; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home.

Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 3: 00 p.m. in the Chapel of Morgan Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Woodard, Sr. officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
