Mary "Wezi" Webb, age 78, died November 19, 2017 at Izard County Medical Center after a brief illness. Born November 23, 1938, she was the daughter of Clifton and Janie Nichols. Wezi spent 48 years caring for children from all over Eastern Arkansas and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Marvin Azbell and Carl Webb, two brothers: Eugene Nichols, Percy "Buck" Nichols and five sisters: Venita King, Annie Grace Hale, Maxine Montgomery, Lorine Morris and Mattie Lee Carter.
Wezi is survived by her daughter Donna and husband John Heckler of Calico Rock, Arkansas; one brother Bill (& Betty Sue) Nichols of Forrest City; one sister Blanch (& Archie) Carter of Harrison, AR; one grandson James (& Mary) Heckler, Jr. of Colt, AR and one granddaughter Kayla (& Cleo) Mckenzie of Forrest City, AR; and five great grandchildren: Emily, Donna, Dalton, Mary Catherine and Sam; and a host of "kids" she cared for, family and friends.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the afternoon at 2:00PM at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne, Arkansas with Bro. Charles Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City, AR. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8:00PM at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Wynne, Arkansas.
