Ms. Maxine J. Milton
Ms. Maxine J. Milton, age 77, died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas, after a brief illness. Born April 30, 1939, she was the daughter of George Henderson Turner and Mary Eldridge. She was a member of the Beck Spur Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lewis (Sonny) Milton, one brother Hugo Turner and one sister Stella (Little Jo) Haynes.
Survivors include two sons: Jimmy Tracy ( & wife Janet) of Forrest City and Tommy Tracy of California; one daughter Tammy Milton Cooper (& husband Randy) of Caldwell; ten grandchildren: Bradly, Brenton and Derek Zamora, Wayne and Lee Cooper, Heather Fletcher, Toby Haynes, James Tracy, Trilla Barnes and Mandi Tracy; twenty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Morgan Chapel. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening, January 20, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, In memory of Maxine Milton, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
