Mrs. Mildred Simpson, age 83 of Forrest City, died early Sunday morning, August 13th, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis after a long illness.
She was born October 30th, 1933, in St. Francis County.
She was the daughter of Henry Cupples and Beulah McDaniel Cupples. She was retired from General Industries in Forrest City, and she was a Baptist..

She was proceeded in death by her husband Ray Simpson, and her brother, William Henry Cupples, who was killed in Korea.

Suvivors include her 3 sons, Bill Scott and his wife Cissy of Pensacola Florida, Mike Scott and his wife, Mary of Huntsville, Alabama, and Allen Simpson of Forrest City. One daughter Beverly Smith of Austin Texas, 2 sisters Dorothy Hill of Forrest City, and Betty Elliott of Little Rock. 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Simpson with be Tuesday morning, August 15th, 2017 at 11:00 am at Morgan Chapel, with Bro. Clay Hughes officiating..Burial will be private.

Visitation with the family of Mrs. Simpson, will be Monday evening, August 14th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Morgan Chapel. Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
