Mrs. Molly Howard- Gerwig of Houston, Tx., age 27, died at the home of her parents near Marianna Friday, October 15, 2021, after a 6-month battle with cancer.

Born May 18, 1994, at Rogers, Arkansas, to Thomas Howard and Margaret Ramsey Howard, she was a volleyball coach at the Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas. She was a graduate of Harding University and earned her master's degree just 2 weeks ago.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Brian Gerwig, and one sister Maggie Howard of Marianna, Arkansas. And her "Memaw" Deanna Ramsey of Marianna, Arkansas. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law Barbara and David Gerwig of Louisville, Ky., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral service for Mrs. Howard- Gerwig will be Monday, October 18, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at Ridgewood Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Waley officiating assisted by Ken Siler and David Gober.

Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery, Forrest City, under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Visitation with family will be from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at Ridgewood Baptist Church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any memorials would be made to Molly Howard-Gerwig Memorial Scholarship Fund.
