Myrtle Chlodean Faughn Jones

Myrtle Chlodean Faughn Jones, age 90, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in her home after a long illness.  She was born on May 1, 1936, in Murphysboro, Illinois, to Irving Edward Bardmess and Pauline Porter.

She was a long time employee of General Industries and also a cafeteria worker at the local school.  She was a member of the Colt Baptist Church in Colt, Arkansas.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and Pauline; her husband; and her dear son, Terry Faughn.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Faughn and six grandchildren, Pamela Stunt (Chris) of Florida, Susan Lewis (Shannon) of Ward, Arkansas, Robbie Faughn and Julie Womack of Forrest City, Arkansas, John Culver of Florida, and Michael Culver (Michelle) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Myrtle’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her enduring legacy of kindness, faith, and dedication to family will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
