Olivia J. Bokker

Ms. Olivia J. Bokker, age 69, died May 1, 2018 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN after a short illness.  Born November 24, 1948, she was the daughter of Oliver Akins and Mildred Miller Akins.  A lifelong resident of Forrest City, she was a former partner with White Motor Company and self employed.  She was a Baptist and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was also a former member of the Women of the Moose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth "Kenny" Bokker in 1994 and one sister Brenda Temple in 2003.

Survivors include two sons: Collin W. Bokker (& wife Rhonda) of Palestine, Arkansas and Kenneth A. Bokker (& wife Shelly) of Cabot, Arkansas; her friend and companion Mike "Bum" Bumgarner of Forrest City, Arkansas; one sister Susan Vest (& husband Jerry) of Wynne, Arkansas; and five grandchildren: Dustin, Alyxa, Cooper, Karter and Katy.

Services are scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2018, at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church on Rosser St. in Forrest City, Arkansas with Pastor Gene Crawley officiating.  Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.  Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at First Baptist Church on Rosser St. in Forrest City.
