Mr. Phillip Guy Curtis, age 73, of Marianna, AR died Tuesday afternoon, November 17, 2020 at St. Vincent's in Little Rock after a long illness.  Born July 29, 1947, in St. Francis County, he was the son of the late William Earl Curtis and Margaret Sue Doerr Curtis.  He was retired from the Housing Authority as a maintenance supervisor, retired Captain from the Marianna Fire Department, and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Curtis was a Communicant of the St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Marianna, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother John Auby Curtis.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Curtis of the home; two daughters: Lynn Davenport and husband Stan of Moro, AR and Melissa Smith and husband Jerry of Marianna, AR; two brothers: William E. Curtis, Jr. and wife Martha of Haynes, AR and Thomas David Curtis and wife Peggy of Brockwell, AR; one sister Joyce Anne Umfress of Bakersville, CA; and four grandchildren: Brittany Mann, Cody Mann, Erin Smith and Ashton Davenport.

Graveside services for Mr. Curtis are scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:30PM at Andrews Cemetery near Haynes, AR with Father James Ibeh, CSSp. and Father Gilbert Taird, CSSp. co-officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 - 2:00PM Saturday afternoon at the chapel of Heirloom Funeral Services located at 99 W. Main St. in Marianna, Arkansas.
