Mr. Rodger S. Rose, age 75, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his home in Parkin. Born September 2, 1939, he was the son of Edward Rose and Ruby May Smith Rose. Mr. Rose was retired from Halstead and RBX. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Ginger Denise Melton in 2012.

Survivors include one son, Christopher S. (Julie) Rose of Paragould, AR, four grandchildren: Jennifer (Amber) Melton, Michael Melton, Josh Rose and Leonard Rose; one sister Nancy Boone of Charleston, NC, a special friend, Carolyn McFadden of Jonesboro, AR; and five grandchildren. Mr. Rose also leaves behind his precious pet Roxy Rose.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2015, 10:00am at Parkin Cemetery in Parkin, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
