Mr. Ronnie Watkins, age 58, of Marianna, died early Wednesday morning, September 26, 2018 in Memphis after a long illness.  Born January 10, 1960, he was the son of John Watkins and Naomi Whaley Watkins.  He was a truck driver for the Sanitation Department in Marianna, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Johnny, Roger and Boyce; and one sister Peggy.

Survivors include his wife Shirley of the home; two sons: Shane Amos and Zack Parson both of Mississippi, one daughter Shelly Moore and her husband Kurt of Lexa, AR; one brother Bobby Watkins and wife Wanda of Marianna and one sister Annie Watkins Alexander and her husband Gary of Wynne.  He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City with Bro. Joseph Parson officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Moro, AR.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Morgan Chapel.
